Parent Ambassador Programme
The SportsHour Family Scheme aims to empower parents and caregivers to embrace more active lifestyles alongside their children. Recognising the critical influence families have on shaping healthy habits, the scheme promotes simple, practical ways for households to integrate regular physical activity into daily routines.
Five Parent Ambassadors were invited through open recruitment to share their unique journeys in fostering wellness at home. Their stories, featured in a series of Family Story Videos, launched across digital platforms in 2025.
The scheme also provides the following resources to support families: Youth Well-Being Calculator and Workout Playlist. Youth Well-Being Calculator is the calculator which is co-designed with the HKU research team, allows parents to gain a preliminary understanding of their children’s well-being by inputting simple information about their children. Workout Playlist is designed for families with different sporting habits and levels.
We all know the “why” to exercise.
